This 1961 Chevy Impala bubble top was built new in Los Angles California in 1961. It has the California 1 piece bumpers front and rear. It is a very solid Impala from the high desert that has under-gone a frame-on restoration. All components have been either rebuilt or replaced. Front Power Disc brakes, Hotchkis front & rear sway bars, tinted windows, radial tires and Vintage air were added for nice driving pleasure. The motor is a high torque 406 engine with Edelbrock RPM intake and Holley 650 double pumper. The 4-speed tranny is a rebuilt M-20 hooked to the original 3:36 rear gears. It appears the Impala was a factory “348” 4-speed car and has been cloned to replicate the rare SS in ’61. The exterior of the Impala is finished in a steel blue/diamond white with matching blue original style interior covering. This is a Impala anyone would be proud to own. A very hard to find California built ’61 bubble top. Delivery possible. $54,000.
