1957 Chevrolet "150"
2dr. Sedan
This '57 is unusual as it was built new in California in 1957 and has a California 1-piece front bumper. The '57 has undergone a complete frame-off restoration that was completed in 2009. It has a dark red metallic finish with a black top. The interior was done with matching leather covering using modern bucket seats, a custom-built console and a fold-down rear seat where the battery is located. The steering wheel was also wrapped to match the interior. The trunk is lined as well using the same fabric. The '57 is powered by a professionally built high-performance "350" hooked to a Muncie 4-speed transmission. A Camero posi-rear-end was used along with 4-wheel disc-brakes and 2" dropped spindles. Other options included are a "I did it" tilt column, air, power steering, power booster disc brakes, power windows (all 4) & power seat. Modern gauges were used and installed in a chrome gauge cluster. Billet dash trim, air-ducts and chrome cup-holders were also installed. Other options include am/fm radio with cassette, tinted glass, dual outside mirrors, station wagon rear bumper to accommodate the lowered rear licenses plate, rear deck antenna, under-dash wiper transmission and other items to numerous to mention. Delivery can be provided. $89,500.
